Who We Are

Asheville Total Tax Solutions, Inc. (or its predecessor) was established in 1978. We primarily serve the Asheville, Mars Hill, Hendersonville, Brevard, Waynesville, and Burnsville areas of North Carolina.

Michael C. Creasman, EA

Mike has a passion for understanding the intricacies of tax research and tax law. He keeps abreast of the ever-changing laws and focuses his attention on the firm’s expanding clientele and tax consultancy.

Tax advisement and financial planning are at the core of Mike’s expertise. “This is such an intimate relationship,” Mike says of his clients. “We talk about dreams and aspirations for themselves and their children and grandchildren. We need to get this as right as we possibly can.”

Mike established Asheville Total Tax Solutions in 1978. Originally an accounting and income tax planning/preparation practice, he soon found that his clients were not as interested in reviewing what they’d done as they were in exploring where they would like to be in the future. His focus is now helping clients take steps to secure their financial futures.

History and Experience

As a native of Buncombe County, Mike grew up in French Broad Township, graduated from Erwin High School, and enlisted in the U.S. Army Infantry.

His extensive experience with tax law enhances his ability to apply tax implications and circumvent potential problems for clients’ portfolios.

Mike is a federally authorized tax practitioner and Enrolled Agent (EA), which means he is able to represent clients at every administrative level before the Internal Revenue Service.

With over 40 years of experience in all areas of income, gift, and estate tax issues, Mike is the person that other tax professionals go to with questions.
